What is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a flexible way to provide long term individualized support to people with a disability.

The NDIS provides individuals with choice and control over the reasonable and necessary supports they require to live an ordinary life and achieve their goals.

It is a scheme which provides certainty that people with a disability will receive the care and support they need over their lifetime.

Our Duty of Care to You

Duty of care means we put your safety, and the safety of others, first. If you or someone you know, is in danger we have a responsibility to inform the right people. This includes the police. If the risk is to you or another person is very high, we are responsible for sharing this information immediately using ACNT's reporting systems that are in place. In these extreme cases

If ACNT's worker need to speak to other services about you, we will need your written consent.
